Hi, I'm Richard. Thanks for taking the time to check me out! I hail from England, UK, and I've been in the digital marketing game since 2008 going fully self employed in 2014. Predominantly, copywriting is my thing, but I have managed ads and digital marketing campaigns which have achieved results.
Here's a snapshot of what I've been doing over the last 15 years or so:
SportActive Cycling: Since working with SportActive lead generation and subsequent sales have increased considerably. I use creative ways to present the company’s USPs across a broad spectrum of online content such as PPC ads/landing pages, web copy, video editing, blogs, e-shots, brochures, banner ads, and press releases. Pre-lockdowns, SportActive saw year on year growth and increased brand awareness.
Into the Marketing: Created over 850 pieces of content including blog posts, guides, web copy, and press releases. Twenty per cent of the content is premium with the remaining 80% being used for guest posting for SEO purposes.
Stilettissimo.com: Managed Facebook and Google ad campaigns, created video content, and proofread e-shots and blog posts. Lead generation improved considerably due to the success of Facebook Ads.
Invertium/SME: Worked on several aspects of the business including speech writing for UAE dignitaries, presentations,
tendering documents, web copy, blog posts, social media content, proofreading, and press releases.
Calltracks: The focus for Calltracks was search engine optimisation. In pre-Panda and Penguin days, Calltracks’ search
engine keyword position rose from mid-page 1 and page 2+ to page 1 and position 1 for the majority of their chosen
keywords. The company’s profile grew significantly as its brand developed a stronger online presence in digital marketing circles.
Mentor EU: Promoting a small start-up career coaching business via regular blog posts, the business developed a strong online presence in under twelve months. Ads/landing pages, email marketing campaigns, e-shots, web copy, e-books, and press releases were utilised to significantly increase the company turnover.
Digitpedia: Digitpedia was an online technology magazine very popular when Web 2.0 was a thing and Blackberry and
Apple smartphones were just going to market. Working in an online journalist capacity, my work was read by hundreds and thousands of people every week. Articles were technology focused and included reviews, opinion, and best of posts.
I've worked on plenty of short term projects over the years, ranging from one-off blog posts and press releases to managing ad campaigns on Facebook and Google.
It's been a blast, but let's focus on the future. It's going to be fun.
